eAccelerator & PHP 5.1

On 2006/02/15 the eAccelerator Team Release the version 0.9.5-beta1.
This version is for PHP5.1

I have now tested this verison and I have no problems with this version.

PHP 5.1.2 released

On 10. December Dexter releases the php5.1.1 Debian Packets.

I have installed the php5.1.1 and make tests.
I have try to install the eAccelerator Cache with php5.1.1, but it don`t worked.
Now I wait for a new Version of eAccelerator.

I have also try to install the APC (Alternative PHP Cache), but the dokuwiki site was only blank.

Performance Test

I used ApacheBench for the Test.
The Test Site was a DokuWiki (BitTorrent Technik Wiki) installation.

Benchmarks done from localhost (no network effects)

he Test shows PHP5.0.4 with eAccelerator 0.9.3 is the best combination for a Dokuwiki Website.

Make Modules for php5.1 with the Debian Packet (php5.1-dev)
If you make the modules direct from the source, you have little troubles, I had one ;).
For phpize I use phpize5.1 and for ./configure I must add –with-php-config=/usr/bin/php-config5.1.
